YORKTOWN, PHILA
900 JEFFERSON STREET
2016
This 62,000 square foot building was acquired from US Bancorp following its foreclosure on Wakisha Charter School (owner/operator). After working for over a year with various charter schools in Philadelphia to re-tenant the property, it was determined that the community would be better served by breaking up the building. Parliament subsequently determined to multi-tenant the facility, which is now 80% leased to Youth Advocate Programs, Acelero Learning Centers, and Elwyn, with the balance of the space targeted for additional education and social service providers.
Future development plans are in the works for the existing parking lot to add another 120,000 square feet to the project to accommodate the needs of a growing educational and student housing market demand.
